Alimikhena, Akpatason, Oghuma return to N/Assembly

Senator Francis Alimikhena, Hon. Peter Akpatason and Johnson Okhuma of the All Progressives Congress have won the senatorial and House of Representative elections in Edo North Senatorial District.

Alimikhena, Oghuman and Akpatanson were re-elected into the Senate and House of Representative.

Alimikhena polled 117, 783 votes to defeat Abubakar Momoh of the Peoples Democratic Party who scored 80, 752 votes.

In Akoko Edo Federal Constituency, Hon. Peter Akpatanson scored 27,097 votes to beat his closest rival, Oladele Bankole who polled 16,053; while Johnson Oghuma of the APC got 57,761 votes to defeat Blessing Agbomeri who scored 39, 904 votes to win Etsako Federal Constituency seat.

Prof Julius Ihonvbere of the APC won the Owan Federal Constituency seat with 33,199 votes to defeat his PDP rival, Johnson Agbolagba, who garnered 25,722 votes.

In Ovia Federal Constituency Hon. Omosede Igbinedion of the PDP, who scored 23, 345 votes lost to Denise Idahosa of the APC who polled 28, 509 votes.
