Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State on Thursday said the state’s legislative and judiciary arms of government have been granted full financial autonomy.
Alia made the announcement through his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, while briefing journalists on the outcome of the State Executive meeting held at Government House in Makurdi.
He explained that the idea would ensure the smooth and efficient running of government administration, as all arms of the government would become more focused and organised in moving the state forward.
