Award winning Kannywood and Nollywood actor, Ali Muhammad Nuhu, has been awarded with a Doctorate Degree in Entrepreneurship and Youth Development by ISM Adonai American University, Cotonou, Benin Republic.

The award ceremony took place during Convocation Lecture & Ceremony for the award of academic degrees, conferment of honorary degrees and presentation of prizes for the 2017/2018 session organized by the university at Togo Palaise De Congress in Lome on Sunday.

During the event, the registrar of the university, Adamu Muhammad said that the humanitarian activities of Ali Nuhu have caught the attention of the world and the Senate of the ISM University deemed it fit to honour the actor with a honorary doctorate degree.

Mr Muhammad explained that his university also identifies with the actor’s efforts in the entrepreneurship and in helping hundreds of youths over two decades to be self-reliant.

In his response, Ali Nuhu thanked the university for giving him the award.

 

He said, “It is an honour to be conferred with the Doctorate Degree in Entrepreneurship and Youth Development.
“My appreciation goes to the management of ISM Adonai American University and thank you everyone for the wishes.”

The filmmakers that accompanied the actor to the venue of the award included Abubakar S. Mohammed, Umar Gombe, Ishak Ahmad and Rashidoo among others.
