Alex Iwobi was on target as Arsenal returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Huddersfield Town at John Smith’s Stadium.
Iwobi’s 16th-minute deflected volley gave Arsenal the lead before Henrikh Mkhitaryan was denied from the edge of the area by Ben Hamer.
Alexandre Lacazette doubled the Gunners’ lead a minute before the break, converting Ainsley Maitland Niles’ cross from close range.
Huddersfield Town’s Adama Diakhaby forced a smart save from Bernd Leno shortly after the break before curling another effort wide.
The home side did claim a sixth home goal when Sead Kolasinac put the ball into his own net in the third minute of stoppage time.
Arsenal stay sixth on 50 points, while Huddersfield remain bottom on 11 points, 13 off safety.
