Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, has continually run its programmes since inception without interruptions.
A total of 503 students were newly admitted comprising of 58 for the Faculty of Education, 160 for Humanities and Social Sciences, 74 for Management Sciences, 112 for Natural and Applied Science, 55 for Law and 44 for Health Sciences.
Speaking at the matriculation, the vice chancellor, Professor Taofeek Ibrahim, said the ceremony, which was the 14th since inception, showed the consistence of academic programmes in the university.
He told students that “in the course of your study here, you must be conscious of the university’s rules and regulations as contained in the university students handbook and be guided by them. I need to inform you that the university maintains zero tolerance to any form of academic corruption, dishonesty, laziness and distrust,” the VC stated.
