Airtel Nigeria has announced its sponsorship of the maiden edition of the Africa Interviews Sustainability Forum themed “Leading Sustainability in Africa: Empowering Nigeria’s Green Future.”  

Airtel’s support underscores its dedication to championing sustainability and advancing conversations on ethical business practices, a statement by the telecom operator said yesterday. 

The event is scheduled to take place today (Wednesday) in Lagos. 

Organized by Africa Interviews, a premier online media platform known for its positive narratives about Africa and Africans through exclusive interviews, features, and commentaries, the forum promises to be a landmark event with diverse range of thought leaders, industry experts, and key stakeholders dedicated to driving conversations around sustainability in Africa, vis-à-vis energy transition among other issues. 

Some of the speakers expected at the event include Deoye Ojuroye, Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, Providus Bank; Oladapo Filani, CEO, Waltersmith Petroman Oil Limited; Ejiro Gray, Director, Governance & Sustainability, Sahara Group; Lamé Verre, Co-Founder and Co-Chair, Lean In Equity and Sustainability; and other sustainability thought leaders.
