Chief Executive Officer of Airtel Africa, Mr segun Ogunsanya, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s FX policy, saying it has eased massive issues confronting FX liquidity and created opportunities for better planning.
The CEO Airtel also disclosed that plans are underway to set up Africa’s largest Data centre in Nigeria.
Ogunsanya made these known on Wednesday while interacting with State House reporters after his meeting with President Tinubu.
He explained that the data centre will serve multinational companies in Nigeria as well as other foreign countries.
The Airtel CEO also made known that final budgeting for the establishment of the center was ongoing and that the commissioning of the location will hold soon.

On the FX, Ogunsanya said “We still have some issues with FX liquidity, but at least slightly more predictable than it was a couple of months ago. It makes it easier for us to do better planning.”
Ogunsanya added that President Tinubu said that Nigerians should expect the best from his government.
