The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, has said the Nigeria Air Force is expected to receive two helicopter gunships from Italy before the end of the year.
He explained that the acquisition of two helicopter gunships from Italy was to bolster the platforms of the NAF in the projection of airpower in defence of the nation.
He stated this in Abuja yesterday during the third quarter CAS Conference with Branch Chiefs, Air Officer Commanding, Directors, Commanders and Air Vice Marshals.
