Ahmed Musa completes mega school in Jos, immortalises parents

Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa has completed an international school project in Bukuru, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State, which he named after his parents.

Musa, who presently plays club football for Sivasspor in the Turkish top division, had already announced the start of the school project last year and stated that he was aware of the need to give back to the community that had given birth to him.

It will be noted that Musa on January 6, 2021, took to social media to reveal that he was building the school.

 “I am not ignorant of the need to give back to my wonderful community and that is why I am excited to announce the commencement of the M & S International School project in Plateau State, Jos South Local Government, Bukuru. Success is mostly determined by education,” he posted on Instagram then.

Musa then revealed on social media that the international school, which is now fully open, has been named after his parents, Mr. Musa and Mrs. Sarah.

“I’m pleased to honour my parents with this name. Mrs. Sarah and Mr. Musa! The M&S International School is now open for business. “Thank you, Allah,” he wrote in the message.

The former Kano Pillars striker who emerged as the highest goal scorer with 18 goals during the 2009/2010 NPFL season has a history of generous giving, including providing scholarships to kids and other donations to help the less privileged.
