Another group of aggrieved leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State has put the party on notice over an imminent pullout if their demands are not met.
This development is coming less than a year after the party suffered massive depletion by some aggrieved leaders and a few months before the governorship polls in the state.
The leaders, who said, they remained in APC despite the “glaring shortcomings of its leadership,” informed them they might be forced to pull out if the situation remained the same.
Addressing newsmen at the unveiling of “Kwara State Opinion Leaders-P16”, the chairman of the group and former governorship aspirant in the state, Engr Jide Usman, said “overtures made to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to settle the grievances of the group proved unsuccessful.”

He said, “APC may not be able to form the next government in the state if positive actions are not taken on the issues of concern raised in the running of the present administration.”
Reacting to the issue, Kwara APC chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, told our correspondent that he was not aware of any group or demand, adding that “I just hope there is no sectarian move to this or the brainwashing of a few columnists.”
