The selection of the students, comprising both males and females, was facilitated by the Daneji Amintacciya Youth Association (DAYA), a community-based organisation working on youth empowerment and development in the area.
Speaking at the ceremony where the students were handed their admission letters, the immediate past Vice Chancellor of NOUN, Prof Abdalla Uba Adamu, urged the beneficiaries to be good ambassadors of their community.
Basiru Daneji, a father to one of the students, thanked the sponsors for the gesture, describing them as builders of modern Daneji.
