A grassroots mobilizer and APC chieftain in Benue State, Comfort Briggs Lokpobiri, has reacted to the appointment of a former deputy governor of Nasarawa state, Silas Agara, by President Bola Tinubu as the Director General of National Directorate of Employment (NDE).
In a statement, Mrs Lokpobiri described Agara as a cosmopolitan leader and detribalized Nigerian.
“You posses the rich experience, administrative finesse and outstanding credentials our country desperately yearns to get off this near precipice,” Lokpobiri said.
She further described Agara’s appointment as a deserved reward for hard work, loyalty and unflinching dedication to the victory of the APC in the last general elections.
She said despite the fact that Agara’s task as the Director General of the Independent Grassroots Campaign Council was difficult; he carried out the responsibility with excellence.
“There is no doubt that this new appointment is another opportunity to bring your wealth of experience and capacity to bear in helping Mr. President to achieving the renewed hope agenda to our job sector”.
Lokpobiri prayed for God to avail Agara with the good health and wisdom to carry out his new national task with sense of patriotism and equanimity.
