Nine months after kidnappers invaded El-Rufai Estate in Kuchiko Resettlement Development Area (KRDA) of Bwari Area Council of Abuja, and abducted a resident, they returned in the early hours of Monday.

During the attack, the gunmen, numbering 16, succeeded in abducting a resident.

It was learnt that they gained entrance into the estate through the space between the main gate and barb wire.

A source disclosed that the attackers visited two houses, but only succeeded in one, due to the timely arrival of the military.

Items looted include two hand bags containing cash, an ATM card and a SIM card

As of yesterday evening, no call had been received from the kidnappers.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Josephine Adeh, said she would get back to our reporter, but she had yet to do so as at the time of filing this report.

“Let me confirm and get back to you,” she said.
