Barely 48 hours after bandits invaded Taka-Lafiya village near Janjala in Kagarko LGA area of Kaduna State, gunmen invaded Bishini village, killed a herder, Musa Haruna, abducted one other and rustled 200 cows.
A resident, Garba Dije, who disclosed that the incident happened around 6pm on Wednesday, said one of the bandits opened fire and killed the herder before whisking away one other person, Alhaji Auta Baba.
He explained that, “The bandits came in their large numbers straight to where the cows were kept, before they started shooting sporadically. One of the herders that attempted to escape was shot dead instantly.”
Our reporter learnt that the bandits then abducted another herder and rustled over 200 cows.

There was no response from the spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command over the incident.
