After bandits invaded Tokulo and Garam villages in Bwari Area Council, shooting 3 and abducting six others, one person was again shot while the district head of Pandan-Gwari and five of his subjects were reportedly kidnapped in the area.
A resident of Kawu, Israel Musa, said the incident took place around 12:34 am on Wednesday, when bandits in their large numbers wielding sophisticated weapons invaded Panda -Gwari village near Kawu and whisked away the district head and five others.
He said the bandits first attacked the district head house after they gained entrance to his room through the backdoor and whisked him away amid sporadic shooting.
City & crime gathered that most of the bandits that have been terrorising rural communities in Bwari come from neighboring villages that share boundaries with FCT and Kaduna State.
