Queen Elizabeth II, the British Monarch has said no one will live forever, as she urged the world leaders to rise above the politics of the moment and achieve true statesmanship.

The 95 ]-year-old Queen, who has been advised by the doctors to suspend official trips, due to a health scare, made the statement in a recorded message at the ongoing COP26 Summit.

The Queen called on the leaders who were in attendance to create a safer, stabler future for the planet.

She also paid tribute to her late husband, Prince Philip.

“It is a source of great pride to me that the leading role my husband played in encouraging people to protect our fragile planet, lives on through the work of our eldest son Charles and his eldest son William. I could not be more proud of them,” she said.

The impact of the environment on human progress was a subject close to the heart of the Duke of Edinburgh, who died in April aged 99, after more than 70 years married to the Queen.

In the clip, the Queen added that she drew great comfort and inspiration from the relentless enthusiasm of people of all ages – especially the young – in calling for everyone to play their part”.

Meanwhile, the Queen was spotted driving behind the wheel of a green jaguar estate car.

She was seen in a headscarf and sunglasses, for the first time since a recent health scare that made her stayed in the hospital.
