After Daily Trust report, Dickson attends Diri’s re-election campaign

After a report by Daily Trust detailing how some heavyweights in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State have shunned campaign rallies, former governor of the state, Senator Seriake Dickson, has attended the re-election campaign rally of Governor Duoye Diri.

Dickson, the senator representing Bayelsa West and political godfather to the current governor, was one of those the report identified as having never appeared at any of the re-election campaign rallies of the governor thereby raising suspicion among PDP supporters.

The former governor, while speaking during the grand finale of the PDP campaign in Yenagoa on Tuesday, stated that he is solidly behind the re-election of his successor and called on Bayelsans to vote for him again.
