After 6-week recess, House breaks over December death of Gawo (photos)

Members of the House of Representatives signing condolence register on the lobby of the House on Tuesday in the wake of the death of one or its members, Mohammed Adamu Fagen Gawo who died in December.
Speaking, the Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila disclosed that, although Fagen Gawo died over a month ago while they were on recess and has since been buried according Islamic rites, the House as a tradition, they will not hold the plenary session.
He expressed members sympathies and condolences to the families and his constituents of Garki/Babura federal constituency of Jigawa State.
Gbajabiamila after observance of a minute silence, prayed for the repose of the soul of Fagen Gawo and other departed members of the House.
He disclosed that, the House will resume plenary on Wednesday.
The House resumed on Tuesday, January 28th, 2020 after six weeks recess.
