AFN holds pre-All Africa Games meet in Abuja

Over 300 Nigerian athletes will vie for honours in the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) pre Africa Games and Olympic Games evaluation competition which begins today at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

A statement signed by the Secretary General of Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN), Rita Mosindi, said the evaluation meet has been split into two phases to accommodate the large number of athletes.

According to her, the first phase of the meet is scheduled for Friday, February 2 and Saturday while the second phase will hold 16th to 17th February in Abuja.
