Leader of the pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, has resolved the crisis over the recently conducted governorship substitution primary of the Labour Party (LP) in Lagos.
Mr. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour had won the primary which was rejected by his only rival, Hon. Moshood Salvador.

However, Adebanjo who has publicly endorsed the LP presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, met with the two chieftains in the late hours of Tuesday.
Sources said at the end of the meeting, Salvador accepted to run for Senate in the Lagos West Constituency, and promised to work with the party for the victory of Gbadebo in the 2023 general election.
Salvador confirmed the development to newsmen.
Also, Adebanjo in a chat with Daily Trust confirmed the meeting and said he did it to unite members of the Labour Party in the state ahead of the 2023 general election.
