13 years after serving as the leader of the pan-Yoruba socio-cultural organisation, Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, has resigned.
The 94-year-old Yoruba leader stepped down due to age factor.
Following his resignation, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, Deputy Leader of the group, has emerged as the acting national leader of the group.
Fasoranti also named the former financial secretary of the group, Oba Oladipo Olaitan, the Alaago of Kajola Ago, Osun State as the group’s deputy leader.
