In a statement issued by AEPB in Abuja, Adebayo reminded the residents that a clean environment contribute to a healthy living.
She said the residents needed to cooperate with the government to ensure that the environment was clean at all times.
She said: “Government alone cannot do all that is required for a sustainable environment in the FCT without community buy-in and support. If every household keeps its immediate surroundings clean and encourages others to do same, the city will be cleaner and hygienic for the wellbeing of present and future generations,’’
She commended AEPB workers and Abuja residents for cooperating with each other to towards ensuring a hygienic environment.
“The cooperation of our staff members and the understanding shown by majority of Abuja residents have greatly contributed to our success,’’ she said. (NAN)
