Aduda canvasses support for govt policies

The Senator, representing the FCT, who made this plea during his turbaning ceremony as the Katukan Abaji Area Council at the weekend in Abuja, also preached peaceful co-existence among the residents, describing it a panacea to enjoying the dividends of democracy.     
Aduda identified the bestowment of the title as a further call on him to duty, pledging to do his best in the interest of the area council and the FCT.
He said: “This is a call to duty; it will spur me to do my best for the people. I thank you all and call on you to be peaceful and remain law abiding. We should support FCT Administration and President Goodluck Jonathan on his transformation Agenda.”
The Ona of Abaji,  Alhaji Adamu Yunusa, said the recognition was a reward for those who have contributed immensely to the development of the area council and the entire FCT.
He called on the lawmaker not to relent on his oars in making the FCT a better place.
