National Chairman, Action Democratic Party (ADP), Alh. Sani Yabagi, Monday asked President Muhammadu Buhari to sign the Electoral Bill, saying it would bring transparency to the electioneering process.

Yabagi made the call while featuring on Trust TV’s Daily Politics.

The Senate and the House of Representatives had last Tuesday recently passed the Electoral Act Amendment Bill, approving electronic transmission of results and direct primary.

Yabagi said: “We’ve moved a step forward. With direct primary, you’ve given powers back to the people.”

He described politics as a “serious business”, saying there is no amount of money spent on it that is too much.

He also admonished politicians to have “a second address” apart from politics.
