Nigerian artiste and songwriter Adekunle Gold has teased his fans with a snippet of the remix of his hit song, “5 star”, teaming up with American rapper Rick Ross.
The Nigerian singer disclosed this after he dropped a sample of the song for his fans where the rapper delivered a verse on the song. Adekunle Gold further revealed that the remix would be released on Friday, September 23.
Rick ross also made a post on his Instagram story where he called out prominent artists in Nigeria, he said; “Don Jazzy, Teni, Adookie Gold(Adekunle Gold), Ollamyde (Olamide), Timaya, Dj Cuppy,” also, at the top of the video, the American rapper wrote; “Join our Family”.
Adekunle Gold had released the “5-star” song in July which came out as a massive hit, at the time of the song’s release, the Nigerian artiste had shared a fervent email, where he had revealed to his fans how he had battled sickle cell during his young age and had fought against it, by being relentless in chasing his dreams, the artiste had also encouraged several of his fans saying; “the disease does not define you. Don’t allow it to limit your dreams or cap your potential.”
