Speaking with newsmen in Ilorin, he said there is no disease or epidemic that cannot succumb to herbal medicine but lamented that the world might not recognise the traditional approach due to the obsession with orthodox medicine.
Adams made reference to the case of Dr. Abalaka who was said to have discovered a vaccine for HIV/AIDS but was later frustrated.
“I believe strongly that with time, traditional medicine will cure Ebola but unfortunately when that happens,  will the world powers recognise it, will they accept it? We heard the issue of Abalaka who discovered a cure for HIV, but he was frustrated. We have to believe in what we have”, he said.
The OPC leader said religion has limited people’s belief in traditional medicine, especially in Yoruba land, but added that herbal medicine cannot be abandoned as most of the green tea being produced and consumed locally and internationally are made from herbs.
“In China, and even in America, people are running away from orthodox drugs, they are going for herbal drugs. So I believe traditional medicine can cure the Ebola disease”, he added.
