The Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has received a letter by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) praising Adamawa State for its outstanding tax remittance record.
The commendation acknowledges the state’s diligent efforts in meeting its tax obligations, making it one of the top-performing states in the country.

Earlier, Sambo Alan Yaska, Acting Director of Tax at the FIRS Abuja office, led a team to present the commendation letter.
Yaska praised Adamawa State for its consistent and timely tax remittances, noting that such contributions significantly impact the nation’s growth and development.
