The police in Adamawa have paraded 36 suspected criminals including kidnappers, armed robbers and rapists.
Parading the suspects in Yola on Tuesday, the Commissioner of Police, Olugbenga Adeyanju extolled the sacrifices of officers of the command as well the support they enjoyed from the state government.

He disclosed that the command had seized three AK 47 rifles, a G3 rifle, 199 rounds of live ammunition, 5 cartridges, a tractor and some cash.
“These achievements are as a result of the relentless effort and sacrifices made by the gallant officers and men of the command with much support from government and good people of the state”, he said..
”The command so far apprehended 36 suspects for kidnapping activities, armed robbery, extortion, rape, car theft, receiving stolen properties among other”.
”Recovery made include three AK 47 rifles, two single barrel guns, 199 round of live ammunition, one G3 rifle, one tractor, two vehicles and a barrel pistol,” he said.
The police also honoured some residents with certificates of commendation for their effort in the fighting crime in the state.
