Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has given the nod for the allocation of land for the Federal Government’s Diaspora Housing Project in Adamawa State.
This decision came during a courtesy visit by the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) management to the Government House in Yola.
According to Governor Fintiri, the diaspora city project aligns with his administration’s goal of providing affordable and decent housing for the masses.
He highlighted his government’s achievements, including the completion of 1,000 housing units in Malkohi and various interventions to mitigate the effects of subsidy removal.

The housing unit will feature amenities like a police station, hospital, supermarket, and more, with 60% of contractors hailing from Adamawa.
Ojo praised Governor Fintiri for his warm reception and commended his administration’s efforts in road construction, empowerment programs, healthcare, and prompt payment of salaries and pensions.
