Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has picked the Vice Chancellor of Adamawa State University Mubi, Prof. Kelatapawa Farauta, as his running mate.
This is just as Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani, the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has also picked Tsitsi Ganama as her running mate for the 2023 governorship election.
Prof. Farauta was a former Commissioner of Education when Fintiri was acting governor of the state.
She hails from Numan LGA of the state, the same zone the present deputy governor is from.
Tsitsi Ganama, is a former House of Representatives member who hails from the Northern senatorial zone, same zone Governor Fintiri is from.
