The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ejezie Emeka Rollas, hosted the National Patrons of the Guild at a dinner meeting that was held in Abuja. In the meeting, he presented the state of the Guild, its challenges and future plans of his administration.
In a statement signed by the Guild’s Director of Communications, Monalisa Chinda Coker, the most important agenda of the meeting was the National office of the Guild in Abuja which is long overdue, as well as the development of the AGN’s permanent secretariat in the FCT and other investment opportunities available through the Guild.
The Patrons also spoke on issues and the welfare of members of the Guild.

Rollas stated that the essence of setting up the National Patron’s Board is to create a conducive environment for a healthy social interaction for the Patrons to network and build robust, mutually beneficial relationships while they also help to contribute ideas to the growth and development of the Guild.
The Chairman of the Patrons Board, Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko, welcomed the members and promised to continuously make himself available to the services of the Guild and thanked the leadership of the Guild for piloting the affairs in the right direction.
In attendance were, Rt. Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko, Chairman, Dr Suleiman Adejoh, Secretary of the Patrons Board, Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim, Chief Sir Nnamdi Nwigwe, Chief Alex Ejiamatu Nwokeabia and Dr Bishop Sam Zuga.
Members of the Guild in attendance include; Actors Kenneth Okonkwo, VAN, Chinyere Winfred, Abubakar Yakubu, National Secretary of the Guild, Kareem Mohammed; Vice President, North-central, Steve Eboh and Chief of Staff to the National President of AGN, Ajility Onwurah.
