ActionAid seeks practical devt plans for Nigerian youths

The Actionaid Nigeria has urged government at all levels to get practically involved in the development of Nigerian youths in commemoration of the International Youth Day.

Its Country Director, Ene Obi, made the call on Wednesday in Abuja during the International Youth Day Celebration themed “Youth Engagement for Global Action.”

She said Nigerian youths should stand up, remain resolute and be hopeful for a Nigeria of their dream.

“Governments need to invest in our youths. If we invest in them, we are not doing them a favour, but preparing them as engine room for development of our economy.

The National President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Solomon Adodo, called on youths to proffer solutions to the challenges confronting the nation.
