The Kano State chapter of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has held an interactive session with the governorship candidates of various political parties seeking to succeed Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje in 2023, where they set agenda for them.
Chairman of the forum, Dr Farouk Umar, told newsmen Sunday that the essence of the interactive session was to discuss with the candidates what they intended to do for the state if elected.
He said, “Part of what we have told them is that we would like them to state that when they win an election they will not interfere with the allocations of the various local governments we have.
“Secondly, we have also called on them to ensure that their officials, from commissioners to permanent secretaries to ministry staff, will not take his son or daughter to school abroad to ensure that their children school in public schools so that they will know the problems of our educational institutions.
