The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) is set to host the maiden edition of Abuja Capital Concert and Food Fair.
The event, organised in partnership with BrandMark Communication and Sahel Standard, would showcase a conference on the creative industry in the morning; food and craft fair, afternoon and musical concert in the evening.
A statement by its Media/Strategy Officer, Olayemi John-Mensah, noted that the event billed for December, is aimed at developing a rallying point for Nigerians and residents of the federal capital to create a platform for positive cultural activities.
“Events such as musical and other entertainment shows provide a space for the display of talents and appreciation of the Nigerian creative industry and forging a communal landscape for the business community at home and abroad,” it said.
John-Mensah added the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, would address stakeholders across the creative industry while the First Lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari, will declare open the food and craft fair.
She added that over 20 state governors and their wives are expected to attend, including the diplomatic communities, agencies under the Ministry of Information and stakeholders in the creative industry.
