The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has tasked the federal government with the need to streamline taxes as well as provide a conducive environment for businesses to thrive.
The chamber made the call Thursday in Abuja at its Annual General Meeting/induction of Dr Emeka Obegolu, (SAN) as the new president of the chamber.
Obegolu said, “For over 37 years, Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been a pillar of economic growth, a hub for trade facilitation, and an advocate of economic growth which is key economic growth.
“By promoting trade and facilitating business partnerships, ACCI trade missions, exhibitions, and business matchmaking events have connected our members with local and international counterparts, expanding their reach and contributing to the economic development of our region and our nation.
