ACCI partners Media Trust to boost visibility of MSMEs

The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCi) and the Media Trust Group, publishers of Daily Trust newspaper and owners of Trust TV and radio have agreed to partner in promoting the visibility of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the country.

The partnership was reached when Dr. Tinuke Temitope, Director of Business Entrepreneur, Skill and Technology (BEST) Centre led a delegation of the ACCI to the Corporate headquarters of the Media Trust Group in Abuja on Wednesday.

According to Temitope, “ACCI is seeking a long-standing partnership with the Media Trust group to cover activities at the centre and also promote events relating to MSMEs such as the forthcoming  ‘Business Meets Golf’ targeted at big businesses in the city.

Also speaking at the visit, Dr Chidiebere Onwumere, ACCI’s executive director. National Policy Advocacy Centre, expressed high regard for the media organization said “The partnership with Media Trust is essential because most of the activities of the Chamber are not reported hence the need to spotligh events and activities that are targeted at boosting growth and development of the Chamber,”

In his response, Ahmed Shekarau, Media Trust Group Chief Executive Directors CEO explained how the media organization had evolved over the years into a media conglomerate with Television, Radio, Newspaper and the digital platforms
