The Abuja Chamber for Commerce and Industry, (ACCI) has called for urgent development of the Industrial hub which will serve as a huge booster for businesses.

The ACCI President, Chief Emeka Obegolu, SAN in a statement yesterday through Olayemi John-Mensah, ACCI Media/Strategy Officer at the Chamber commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Administration FCTA Nyesom Wike for his strides in advancing infrastructural development within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

He stated that the ACCI, representing the voice of the business community and the Organized Private Sector within the FCT, took the opportunity to draw attention to the urgent need for development in the Idu Industrial District.

“The Idu Industrial District serves as a significant business hub in the FCT and the cornerstone of the region’s industrialisation vision. It also plays a crucial role in fostering manufacturing, technology, employment, commerce, industry, and sustainable growth within the FCT.

“As such there is a pressing need for government attention and intervention to provide essential infrastructural amenities such as good roads, water, public transport, and electricity in the Idu Industrial District as these improvements are vital to facilitating seamless commercial operations for businesses in the area,” the President said.
