The Director General of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Dr Victoria Akai, has said the chamber serves as a voice for the business community.
She spoke Wednesday in Abuja at the World Milk Day Mega Celebration 2023, organised in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) and the Commercial Diary Ranchers Association of Nigeria (CODARAN).
According to her, the two-day event, themed, ‘Pathways to Financing Nigeria’s Milk Revolution’, would feature a conference for stakeholders in the dairy industry and exhibition at the Abuja Trade and Convention Center of ACCI.
“We would like you to know that, here in ACCI, we serve as a voice for the business community and also provide a platform for policy makers and the organized private sector to interface and map out practicable ways to implement policies. Hence, this event is very paramount especially in this new dispensation.
“As we enjoin all stakeholders in the dairy sector to leverage on this event, we want to announce that this jointly organised event is just a reference point to build a stronger relationship for the future.
“I wish to congratulate the children and schools present here and I am confident that at the end of this event, the exposure, and enlightenment will be beneficial not just to the Nigeria economy but also to the children’s academics,” she said.
