The Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory, Mariya Mahmud, has urged members of the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) posted to the territory to accept their posting to places of primary assignment in good faith.
The minister made the appeal during the closing ceremony of the 2023 Batch B Stream 2 orientation course for corps members at the Kubwa orientation camp.
According to her, “This is my first visit as the honourable Minister of State for FCT, I assure you that I will give my best to ensure you enjoy your service year here, so I urge you to integrate with the community you may find yourself.
“As you all know, NYSC scheme has become a national brand, I implore you to always strive to make a difference anywhere you found yourself.’’
