The Nigeria Association of Auctioneers (NAA) has called for a robust partnership with the administration of President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The association’s national president, Alh. Musa Kurra Abubakar, made the call Friday in Abuja during a press briefing.
Abubakar said adequate collaboration with the incoming government would ensure that all national assets auctioned gets a better deal and the monies realized from the sales gets to the coffers of the federal government.
He said the association had been in business with the government in helping to build a strong and sustainable economy.
“The Nigeria Association of Auctioneer is assuring president-elect and the All Progress Congress (APC) as a party that our members have remain vigilant and working closely with well meaning Nigerians at the grass-root and indeed supporters of APC to ensure that Nigeria have a smooth and peaceful transition of power from the outgoing president, Muhammadu Buhari to the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu.
“However, the Nigeria Association of Auctioneers has been in business with the Nigerian government in helping to build a strong and sustainable economy. This can be achieved when the incoming government accepts Nigeria Auctioneers as partners in ensuring that all national assets auctioned gets a better deal and the monies realized from the sales gets to the coffers of the federal government. This process has been achieved over the years through a transparent process carryout by this great association,” he said.
