The traditional ruler of Adagba community in Abaji Area Council of the FCT, His Royal Highness (HRH), Malam Abdullahi Wokili, has said his subjects that fled their homes after recent bandits’ attacks are gradually returning home.

City & Crime had reported that bandits invaded the community on April 23, killing a 23-year-old man, Nuhu Mai Gyada, and abducted eight villagers, which forced the villagers to flee their homes.

Malam Wokili, who spoke with our reporter through telephone yesterday, said life had started picking up as some of his subjects who fled their homes as a result of attacks were coming back.

He said the subjects, mostly peasant farmers, were now going to their farms, adding that some Hausa who were also into dry season farming and fishing were returning to the community.
