Abuja to host Miss Heritage Global 2021

Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, will host Miss Heritage Global 2021, the organisers have said on Monday.
The last edition of the global event was held in 2019 in Accra, Ghana.
The coronavirus that brought the world to her kneels in 2020 and the lockdown that followed prevented the event from holding last year.
However, organisers said this year’s edition will be a huge one, with an estimated 100 million viewers.
Speaking at a Press Conference in Abuja on Monday, the President of Entertainment Economic Summit Africa (EESA) 2021, Alhaji Musa Ibrahim Mantu, the event is poised to host over 600 attendees, drawn from target demographic segments, including public sector, members of the diplomatic community, lifestyle aficionados, hospitality practitioners, youth and mass market creative entrepreneurs.
EESA is partnering with MHG to stage the event.
“It promises to deliver an exciting once in a life time experiential event spectacle, one which will definitely redefine entertainment trends in the country,” Alhaji Mantu assured.
According to him, the event will run for 10 days, from 30 September 2021 to October 2021.
“There will be many programmes but the grand event will be in commemoration of our 61st Independence anniversary,” he added.
Alhaji Mantu also said there would be 60 participating countries with a galaxy of stars expected to light up the event.
Though, the organisers were reluctant to name the entertainment stars who will grace the event, Daily Trust gathered that Hollywood star, Oscar and Grammy winning Actor Jamie Foxx and British Actor Idris Elba will host the event.
About Miss Heritage Global (MHG)
President of (MHG), Nhlanhla Shabangu, said MHG was founded on the basis of celebrating all cultures of the world and showcasing the beauty in human diversity.
According to him, MHG creates culture ambassadors out of beauty queens from the ages of 18 to 28 from different cultures and backgrounds, bringing them together to learn about the culture of the host country, share their own cultures with each other and the people of the host country ultimately demonstrating that we can be united despite our differences.

“We are confident that this event would launch a wave of innovative activations that will position Abuja and Nigeria as a whole as a vibrant and highly sought after Tourist and Entertainment Hub, Rife with Culture and outstanding lifestyle experiences that will attract FDI into the sector,” he said.
