The House of Representatives member representing  AMAC/Bwari federal constituency,  Obike Joshua Chinedu, has called for better funding of the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) in the FCT.

Chide, while speaking at a dinner and recognition event, organized by the PCC in Abuja on Tuesday, said a better budgetary provision for the PCC would enhance more excellent service delivery to the residents of the territory.

He said the PCC could do much without better and adequate funding, saying lack of adequate funding has been the commission’s bottleneck.

“I believe with better funding, the Public Complaints Commission (PCC), will do more far better than they are doing now, because I know the major obstacle facing PCC is lack of adequate funding,” he said.

He said the public had not heard of PCC commissioners in the past, saying not until now that the commission begins to get more recognition.

Also speaking, the commissioner of the PCC representing the FCT, Ezekiel Musa Dalhatu, said the dinner was the first of its kind by the commission.
