The FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, Wednesday, said Abuja is not just the political capital of Nigeria but a city with opportunities waiting to be harnessed.
The minister, who spoke at the opening of the 2024 Abuja Business and Investment Summit, assured that the city is open for business.
Wike said the FCT Administration had undertaken significant measures to create an enabling environment for local and foreign investors, adding that, ‘’We recognize that infrastructure is the backbone of any successful investment. That is why we have prioritized the development of roads, transportation networks, and utilities to ensure seamless connectivity within the territory.’’
The minister said the Abuja Investment Company Limited and the Abuja Enterprise Agency had facilitated partnerships and supported investors to ensure, ‘’You receive the necessary guidance at every step of your investment journey.’’

The minister called on the participants to explore the myriad investment opportunities in the FCT whether in real estate development, technology incubation or agro- business.
City & Crime reports that the summit, organised by the Abuja Investment Company Limited, is being attended by local and international investors in various fields of business.
