Abuja Newspapers Distri-bution Association (ANDA) has expressed grief over the demise of two of its members who have been buried on October 16, 2019 and November 1, 2019 respectively.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja, the President of the association, Comrade Benji Obute, Barr. Kayode Adeleke of Sir Kay Agency and Mr Okoi Ibiang Barnabas Iwara of SLO Agency lost their lives in October.

He said he was in deep shock to lose two committed members in a space of two weeks, adding that he has been traumatised by the deaths.

He recalled that “the late Barr. Kayode through his commitment and perseverance was called to bar last year and was pursuing his Master’s degree before death cut him short. “This is a sad moment for me and my association to lose two of our dedicated members in quick sucession. We are saddened and highly bereaved”.

“I promise to enroll the Association into insurance scheme that would cater for the bereaved family should death occur.  In respect to this sad events, the association has declared one month of mourning for the deceased members,” he added.
