The Abuja Muslim Forum (AMF), an umbrella body of all Muslim organizations in Abuja and its environs, has inaugurated a 12-member executive committee that will pilot the affairs of the organisation for the next three years.
The new executives comprised Amir (leader), Alhaji Abdulrasaq Ajani; Naibul Amir (deputy leader), Alhaji Muhammad Bashir Ibrahim; General Secretary, Alhaji Yakub Sulaiman; Assistant General Secretary, Mallam Abduljaleel Badmos; and Financial Secretary, Mallam Abiodun Sadiq.
Others are PRO I, Ustaz Yunuus Salahudeen; PRO II, Dr Aishat Adaviruku; Internal Auditor, Ustaz Muhammad Lawal Shuaib; Legal Adviser, Adam Ahmad Adam; Treasurer, Hajjiah Jemilah Yaqub; Women Coordinator, Hajjiah Muinah Taoheed; and Coordinating Secretary, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris.
Speaking after the inauguration of the executives on Saturday in Abuja, the new Amir, who said that he was a student of many as there were many of his teachers qualified to lead the AMF, noted that how his name finally came out from the selection by the Shura Committee was best known to Allah.

He also said that the vision and mission of the AMF at its inception is noble, assuring that the new executive council shall sustain it.
