Abuja ‘iBelieve’ Carnival To Kick Off Nov 7

Platinum X Art and Media Ltd in partnership with the Federal Capital Territory Authority (FCTA), is set to organise Abuja iBelieve Carnival 2024.

The carnival is billed to hold from November 7-11, 2024.

Briefing newsmen on Thursday in Abuja, Omoefe Tawiyah, the carnival’s Chief Organiser Officer, said it’s a “public-private partnership aimed at showcasing Nigeria’s diversity, raising national consciousness, instilling pride and patriotism, and promoting domestic tourism, investment, wealth, and job creation.

“It also aims to promote peace, reduce crime, eliminate inequality, provide employment opportunities, increase skilled employees, improve social amenities, and eliminate communal problems.”

Tawiyah said the event supported by the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment, along with other government agencies and parastatals, is to bring a fresh ray of hope to Nigerians by presenting the country’s great tourism and entertainment industries while building togetherness, pride, and patriotism.

While giving highlights of the carnival, he said there will be a carnival village that will feature food and drinks; art exhibitions; kids arena; games; networking and parties; photo shoot: live quiz with attractive prizes; raffle draw with amazing prizes; loads of giveaways and marketplace.

Kelvin Ikegwuonu, Special Assistant on Medical Tourism to the Minister of Tourism, Lola Ade-John, while calling on media houses to publicize the carnival said the ministry would give its full support to ensure success.
