It will be a feisty affair this evening at the MKO Abiola National Stadium Abuja as the Super Eagles of Nigeria battle the Black Stars of Ghana in the final leg of the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff.
The first leg of the third round of the qualifiers between the two West African nations ended in a barren draw after 90 minutes last Friday in Kumasi.

Part of efforts by the Federal Ministry of Sports and the Nigeria Football Federation to ensure the Super Eagles win the return leg is the mobilisation of thousands of fans to storm the stadium to cheer the Super Eagles to victory.
And having secured the approval of CAF to fill the 60,000 capacity stadium against the initial 30,000, the government has provided over 100 buses to give fans free rides to the venue of the epic clash.
In addition, with fans scrambling to get the tickets, the Sports Ministry and the NFF have purchased 20,000 tickets to be distributed free to them.
Some of the fans who spoke to Daily Trust yesterday said they were eager to get the tickets for them to storm the stadium for the Super Eagles.
Ikenna Oguike, a fresh secondary school graduate said he has never seen the national team play and is eager to watch them live at the stadium.
“I have only seen the Super Eagles play on TV. Since I live in Abuja, there is no reason I should not be in the stadium. I am trying to get tickets for myself and my friends,” he said.
Offiong Ita, a media practitioner said he was looking for how to get tickets for himself and 10 of his friends and family members.
“I need tickets for myself and ten of my friends and family members. We all want to watch the game tomorrow (today),” he said.
A furniture maker, Manasseh Akoso, said he is ready to endure any inconveniences to be at the stadium to cheer the Super Eagles to victory.
“I have had bad experiences anytime I go to watch matches at the stadium but I am not giving up.
“By the grace of God, I will be at the stadium tomorrow (today) to watch the Super Eagles battle Ghana,” he said.
