The Kogi State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has said all the hostages held by kidnappers from the God is Good Motors and ABC Transport buses travelling from the East to Abuja have been freed.
Fourteen commuters travelling in two different luxury buses were abducted at Inyenle Eteke, Ogugu, Olamaboro LGA of Kogi State, last Friday.
The command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) SP William Aya, confirmed the release of the hostages on Thursday through a text message.

He, however, did not explain whether the victims were rescued by security or whether ransom was paid before they were set free.

The text message read, “Just been informed by the DPO that all the kidnapped victims of God is Good Motors and ABC regained their freedom.”
