The Department of Mass Communication, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, will hold its first International Conference from Monday 26th – Wednesday 28th February, 2024.
The conference, with the theme “Media, Insecurity and Development: Issues, Challenges and the Way Forward”, is to be chaired by the Director General of NTA, Malam Abdulhamid Salihu Dembos.

The chairman, local organising committee, Professor Cosmos Eze, said the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, will deliver a keynote address while Professor Umaru Pate, Vice Chancellor, Federal University, Kashere, will present the lead paper at the conference.
The 3-day conference will take place at the Main Auditorium, Centre of Excellence Ahmadu Bello University Business School, ABU Main Campus, Samaru, Zaria and will attract eminent scholars across the world.
